closing wordpress account

  i would like to close my site and account and change to wordpress.org, is this possible or will i be blocked with my mail-adress for the next 30 days at wordpress.org as well?

  Hi,

  Closing your account deletes all of the sites you own and all their contents. After a few weeks, the data will be entirely purged from our system and at this point the process cannot be reversed.

  You can permanently close your WordPress.com account from the bottom of your Account Settings screen:

  You can create a new account with the same email id on wordpress.org
