Closing wordpress account completely

  How do I do this? There is no option I can find in the account panel.

  Hi there,

  WordPress.com accounts cannot be deleted due to security reasons. If you wish to leave WordPress.com, you can just leave your account inactive. Here’s how to deactivate it: https://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/
