  does closing my wordpress.com account affect in any way my wordpress.org websites?

  Hi there,

  Closing a WordPress.com account will delete any sites you own that are hosted with us.

  But it will have no effect on WordPress sites you have hosted with other providers, as those sites have no connection at all to WordPress.com.

  I see you have already closed this account since posting here, so I’m closing this as resolved.
