closing yahoo website to move wordpress blog to word press domain

  I have had a WordPress blog hosts on Yahoo for some years but have decided to just have a blog at WordPress and have WordPress domain beckysharpsquilting.com.

  At the moment I am getting this error (site_id mismatch error) when I type in the URL for beckysharpsquilting.com.

  I have backed up and created an export file of my current blog. If I cancel my yahoo website can I import the old content into the new URL?

  Which hopefully will clear the error message
