  Hello there, if you wish to keep your blog posts, you may do an export to have a file downloaded as a backup of your blog posts. Please read below article to determine the type of export you would like to use.

  Please note that after you’ve deleted and closed your account, the current WordPress.com URL (e.g. footlooseonroad.wordpress.com) will no longer be able to re-use.
