Closure of Account

  Dear WordPress Support Community,

  I have the site popupinstitut.wordpress.com and popupinstitut.com running on biohost with wordpress with the same emailadress. I would like to close the wordpress account but am afraid that it has an effect on my actual site popupinstitut.com. Can I delete my wordpress account without effecting my actual site?

  Hi there!

  Your account here at WordPress.com is separate from any account you create using the WordPress software.

  However, I will note that by deleting popupinstitut.wordpress.com, you would not be able to reuse that site address anytime in the future and it would not be recoverable after 30 days. If you’re not sure if you want to use it in the future, there are other options you can choose instead.

  Thank you for this helpful reply! I deleted the site for now and will see if I need my wordpress account sometime in the future.
