CNAME change to set up email with 3rd party (IX Hosting) not working

  I have established a new account with IX Hosting for my email and have been unable to get email working. i followed the instructions to change the DNS and have added the following MX and CNAME records from IX Hosting but still not working:

  MX 10 mail1207.ixwebhosting.com
  CNAME mail.thepigandthefig.com mail1207.opentransfer.com

  The MX change worked but not CNAME – can you let me know what else needs to be done or if the above format is incorrect? thanks

  It looks like you’ve switched to using Google Apps for Domains.

  I actually recommend this service, as we can’t always support others. Is this working out for you?
