  • Hi there, @tribushonline!

    Thanks for reaching out.

It sounds like you are looking to replace the site address tribushonline.wordpress.com with a custom domain that you own with GoDaddy. Is that right?

If so, to start, you will want to add a paid plan to your site tribushonline.wordpress.com. I generally recommend the Premium plan because this plan unlocks several site customization options and also gives you access to live chat support. If you tell me a bit more about your site, I would be happy to recommend the best plan for what you have in mind! What is the primary purpose of your site? What specific features or functionalities would you like to have on your website?

You can purchase a plan for your site at My Site → Upgrades → Plans

Once you do that, you will be able to connect your domain registered elsewhere to your WordPress.com site. Here is how to do so:

If you already own a domain name with another provider, you can use that domain with your WordPress.com site. Once you complete the steps below, instead of your site address being something like yourgroovysite.wordpress.com, your site’s address will be something like yourgroovydomain.com. Follow the steps in this guide to keep your domain registered with your current provider and use it to show

Let me know if you have any questions! We are happy to help!
