Co-author plugin needed

  Hi,

  We could really do with a co-author plugin so we can easily show the people that contribute to our blog posts – they are rarely going to be authored by just one person. Given that it is possible to add various team members with different permissions I was surprised this wasn’t already a feature, unless it is buried somewhere and I have missed something?

  Contributors to a page are given due credit. As you have already seen, some good information about the various roles you can give people is covered here:

  Interestingly, in https://en.support.wordpress.com/adding-users/ it mentions

  Transfer Note: For security purposes, there is no way to remove the original creator/owner from their blog. As such, if you wish to transfer your blog to another user/account, please follow the instructions here.

  It is not specific if the original creator is attributed to the author of the content.
