I want to build a site where businesses purchase a membership and give access to their employees or customers for free. I want the employees/customers to be able to see a pic/logo and contact information of the business that gave them access, at the top of the screen when their employees/customers log in. Is there a plug-in for this?

Unless you have a wordpress.COM hosted site with a Business plan https://wordpress.com/pricing/ you cannot install any plugins in addition to those that are built in to all of our sites, and you cannot install third party or custom themes.
There is no FTP access to wordpress.COM hosted sites.
