Code Box?

    I am a little puzzled on how to put a code box on my sidebar. I think it’s some simple code like the contact form, but I’m not sure. What I mean is this:

    If someone could tell me how to put one on my sidebar, that’d be great. Thanks!

    Try putting it in a text widget. If it works, then OK. If it doesn’t, then I’m out of ideas!

    That is not going to happen at WordPress.com, if you mean blank, fill-in box with the scrolling bars and all. The code would not be allowed.

    Did you want to display text? Pictures? Have a contact form? Make something for your readers to fill out? What do you want it to actually DO?

    Well like a “link to us” thing. I saw it at http://wweadam.com/ and http://aguair.wordpress.com/. Scroll down on the sidebar and you can see it.

    Thanks for the links. I wasn’t aware you could use the form tag at WP.com!

    This is the code for that box, so you can just adapt it for your own:

    <div class="textwidget"><a href="http://aguair.wordpress.com"><img src="http://www.gifninja.com/Workspace/6984382a-782a-437d-a06a-0010f7926c07/output.gif"></a>

    Link us:

    <form method="post" action="">
    <textarea name="comments" cols="40" rows="5"><a href="http://aguair.wordpress.com"><img src="http://www.gifninja.com/Workspace/6984382a-782a-437d-a06a-0010f7926c07/output.gif" /></a>
    </textarea>

    ~Ag!~</form></div>
