Code editor removes ‘display’ properties from HTML code
-
The HTML code looks fine when I put it into an editor control. But the content of the published page is corrupted in “Preview” window and after “Update”. If I do “Update” and then open the code editor again, I see the modified HTML code with the “display” properties removed.
Yesterday morning everything was fine, the problem appeared later in the evening.

Hi there, just wanted to let you know our engineers have fixed this issue. You should be able to add inline styles as before. If you continue to see any issues can you please let us know? Thanks!

Unfortunately, I just discovered that this was not a fix for the entire bug, but only for some of its symptoms. I’ve published hundreds of pages and obviously don’t keep a list of every CSS property I’ve used. I can’t imagine how to present a complete list of symptoms, some problems may only appear years later. I will open another case in the forum.

Since it’s related, you’re welcome to reply here. Could you share more examples? If you just want to make a private page with all of them that would work.

Hi there, can you clarify where you are seeing the issue still? Happy to take a closer look, thanks!

Hello, thanks for your response. So far I have found the following CSS properties that are removed on edit: left, top and box-shadow.

Hello there,
Many thanks – can you tell us the URL of the page where this CSS appears please?
