Code for a Photo Counter

  I wish to have a counter displayed that shows the number of photos i have stored on my blog. Every day the number keeps increasing, the stats page tells me how many posts.. and as all the posts are photos i can see how many in total,., but no body else can.

  I just want to put a little counter above ‘who we are’ that tells vistors the total number of posts/pictures

  Can someone please help?

  That would require javascript or something and modification of the underlying files as far as I know and those are not allowed on wordpress.com.

  The closest you could get is to set the category widget to display the number of posts in each category. If you have used different categories, then people would have to add them up to see the total. If you only have one category or have one category assigned to all posts, then the number for that category would be the number of photos.
