Code getting stripped
-
I am trying to add some badges from AirBnB to my website, but they don’t seem to work. I read about WordPress ‘stripping’ some html code, and I think that’s what is happening. Can this please be fixed? I would like to add the SuperHost badge, and the Reviews badge to my website. They are both important to my business

Hi @cheryljeffmc.
Are you using the tag <frame>?
Some tags are not allowed to use in WordPress sites. You can find more information about coding on the link below:

Thanks. I read that webpage already. And that’s why I believe WP is stripping the code – as it is an ’embed’ code. It also says to notify them if I believe the code is being stripped when it shouldn’t – and that’s what I’m trying to do. I am just cutting and pasting the code provided by AirBnB – I have no expertise in writing or understanding code. I just need it to work.

Hi there,
For what site is this? The account you’re using to post here does not own any sites on WordPress.com.
HTML embed tags are not allowed on WordPress.com for security reasons, as explained in that support doc, but I suspect you’re actually working on a site built with the open source WordPress.org software, which is something completely different from WordPress.com.
If that’s the case, you can find support for your version of WordPress at https://wordpress.org/support/
