Code in Forum Problem

  no matter what I tried – I ended up with the extra formatting – was just a simple copy and paste using the Code buttons – copy from Notepad++ – – I thought this used to be straight forward

  Any thoughts ?

  I assume you mean the br tags?

  yes the br tags – nothing I tried would not have them – guess I could have made two separate pair of code tags

  I’m unable to replicate it myself.

  By only guess is that the line breaks are coming over in the paste, and the code tags are properly translating them to HTML. I’ll keep trying though.

  I thought I used to use the Code tags – maybe I used the Quote in the past – been a while since I posted DNS suggestions

  Maybe it is a “feature” that I just had not used this way or something – I can sort of understand the br in the code – but the part about not being able to get the br out was surprising

  Remember – there are no bugs only “undocumented features” :)
