Code not saving in text box widget

  I’m having a problem where after I copy code into the text box widget (specifically: <script type=”text/javascript” language=”JavaScript” src=”http://elbo.ws/scripts/badge.js”>
  </script>) after I save the changes it disappears from the text box and never shows up on the blog. Please let me know what I need to do to fix this.

  That’s a Javascript code which is why it’s not saving. We can’t use Javascript on our blogs for security reasons; if they offer different badges, you can use an HTML version which should work fine. Hope that helps.

  Javascript is not permitted here – if anything you put in a widget disappears then we are removing it for security reasons, sorry.
