Code showing on front end (breaking after update?)

    Hey all,

    My elementor site is breaking and I’m not sure why, though I believe it may have something to do with an automatic update to the elementor plugin.

    As you can see the header and footer are broken. In the header this piece of Elementor code is appearing to users:

    The first line suggested that it had something to do with updating to v3.18.0. However, when I restored to before 29-11-2023 via JetPack that line still appeared even though I was restoring to a version on 25-11-2023. It’s broken the CSS on a few other pages as well and I’m not sure what the issue is.

    I’ve noticed after restoring, the page looks correct on the first load but then any subsequent loads the breakage returns.

    After some searching online this website also has a similar glitch:

    I’ve since tried restoring forward to the most recent backup since previous backups weren’t making a difference but now the option to restore to previous days is greyed out on jetpack.

    Any help on resolving this would be much appreciated. Thank you!

    We can’t help with third party plugins. You must contact Elementor support to solve this problem.

    Hi @webdeveeaadd08d6 we do provide support for general WordPress questions under your Business Plan, but we’re not expert in Elementor (since it is created by a 3rd party)

    However, in this case we have had reports from other site owners that there is an issue with the latest update of Elementor. You can see it is also a question that is popping up in the forums they offer here: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/header-footer-elementor/

    We’ve also heard from a few site owners that you can get around this issue temporarily (until Elementor released a proper update to fix the issue) by deactivating Improve CSS Loading from Elementor > Settings > Features. If you give that a try does it help?
