Code text showing up on homepage

I attempted to add in a subscription pop-up, and edited the MailChimp code into theme editor. The pop-up worked, but now the entire text of the code is displayed on my home page. I was able to delete it when I went to ‘customize’ and hit the edit pencil, but now it doesn’t show up on my customize page. How do I get rid of it? (Theme: Crimson Rose)

Your site appears to be using the self hosted version of WordPress. That is a completely different version of WordPress than the one hosted and supported here.For WordPress help for that site, try the forums at
