Code to add date of post archives short code

  1. Is there a shortcode where I can use with the [archives] short code that will pull out the date of the blog post too? For my automatic short “site list” of all blog posts.

  2. I also tried to order my pages by putting in the order number for page for top part of menu. But it didn’t work because it hid my secondary drop menu row. For this blog: http://cyclewriteblog.wordpress.com

  So I deleted the new page. Put every menu page at 0 order (as it was before and for past few months) and hoped to get the secondary menu drop down to appear. Now it’s disappeared!! Help… How do I recover my secondary row menu for readers.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  1. No there is not.

  2. Use a custom menu. It is far easier to organize and arrange pages and gives you a lot more flexibility.

  And please on that site go to settings > reading and set it to show at most 2 or 3 posts. 5 minutes on my slower wireless internet service connection and your main page had still not loaded.

  I’ll looking into this later.

  Part of the reason is burying some geographically different subject posts. Sigh. I can’t let go…
