We’ve been over this. It’s got “script” in the code, therefore it will never work. You will have to find an HTML-only version of the code, one which doesn’t contain “script”/.

ok raincoaster , i got this html code but it only brings up a little bit of text in the sidebar
<table><tr><td>
<OBJECT classid=”clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000″ codebase=”http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=8,0,0,0″ WIDTH=”157″ HEIGHT=”203″>

</td></tr></table> -
@Garry
[java]script and shockwave flash are stripped out by the software.
See here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/ -
OOPS! I meant to type “Harry” above. Long story short – you cannot use that widget on a wordpress.com blog. It’s a shockwave Flash widget and the software will strip the code out.
-
Harry, the flash version you recently posted can be used here with the gigya shortcode. I played with it a little and I think I have everything in there for you. Panos is the king of Gigya and he might be able to enhance or make things better. I might have missed a few things when I made up the code. Put this in your post or text widget.
[gigya src="http://www.widgeo.net/geocompteur/swf/geocity_blue2.swf? idm=1590014&jour=4&online=2&total=5" " width="157" height="203" ] -

Actually, use the following. I just noticed a couple mistakes.
[gigya src="http://www.widgeo.net/geocompteur/swf/geocity_blue2.swf? idm=1590014&jour=4&online=2&total=5" width="157" height="203"] -
-
That is the code you gave Harry. I just tried it (full flash code) in my test .ORG blog and get the exact same results, so it is the code.

</OBJECT>
</td></tr></table> -
Harry, the code right above is the same code I used which you said was wrong and produces the download image/link.
I checked the site and the original code is the actual code, which contains PHP script and there is absolutely no way to use that here at wordpress.com.

The ‘correct’ transformation of the above flash embed code is this:
[gigya src="http://www.widgeo.net/geocompteur/swf/geocity_blue2.swf" flashvars="idm=1590014&jour=4&online=2&total=5" quality="high" wmode="transparent" width="157" height="203" ]
But this gives a fixed number of visitors, so it’s just a demo, not an actual counter. Where did you find that code, Harry?
