  I’m new at WordPress. Why am I seeing codes in my posts? Like:
  <![CDATA[
  It appears consistently

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Did you copy/ paste the content of your post from a program like Microsoft Word or another web page?

  Check the guide at https://en.support.wordpress.com/microsoft-word/ page and try to clear the formatting of your text.

  Yes, my posts were imported from a now-defunct app that I had used (TravelPod)
  I’ll check the link you sent me to clean things up, I hope.

  Suggest you take a look at “Remove Formatting” section on https://en.support.wordpress.com/visual-editor/ page as well.

  This might not remove the <![CDATA[ text, which I think you would need to remove manually.
