I’m moving over from squarespace, I’m trying to enter an HTML code on the site editer, but when I enter it, it still just looks like code and nothing changes. What am I doing wrong? I know for sure it’s the correct HTML code because it works on other sites.

Hi there! I had a quick look at your site; do I understand that you were trying to set up a table with some CSS styling applied to it? The Site Editor can work with some HTML but how you do so can vary, depending on what you’re wanting to do. There’s a general guide to code on WordPress.com here for reference!
What sort of site are you looking to set up in general? If you’d like to let us know more, we’re happy to point you in the right direction.
To start with however, it might be worth using the Table block instead; it offers typography, colour, and border settings which do then apply as inline CSS.
It might also be worth looking at putting content first into pages, rather than the ‘Site Editor’ which is primarily for the overall appearance of the site – that way you don’t risk accidentally ending up with some content appearing on all pages instead of just the page where you intended it to go.
