Colinear visted links colour
-
I use Colinear. It’s OK except for one thing, the colour of visited links: black. They should be purple. Apparently the only way I can change this is either upgrade to Premium and use CSS, or switch themes. I can’t afford Premium. (My blog isn’t monetised.) And the idea of switching themes isn’t appealing. In any case, it seems impossible to find out if there’s one like Colinear but with purple visited links. Any ideas?

Hi @soothfairy, I’m afraid without CSS you’ll need to switch themes if you want a different visited link color.
If you’re interested in tinkering with blocks, you might be able to find a Site Editor theme that you can customize to create that layout. You may be able to get something you like even better, but it could take more time and work, too, so if you can swing the additional cost to upgrade, that will likely be your best bet. And we do prorate your existing upgrade credit for you, for what that’s worth!
Here are some CSS samples you could use if you decide to upgrade:
/* purple visited across the site unless the code designates otherwise */ a:visited { color: purple; }/* purple visited only in side-bars */ .widget-area a:visited, .footer-widget a:visited { color: purple; }/* purple visited links in posts */ .entry-content a:visited { color: purple; }And if you’ll go to https://wordpress.com/plans you can see what credit can be applied toward Premium.
Hoping this helps!
