  Is there an easy way to collect the email addresses from readers who have left comments on my WordPress blog?

  What is usually done is to ask one’s readers to subscribe to an email newsletter. You can use a widget for that. You can’t write your readers without their consent. The ToS are supposed to be understood that way, I believe: http://en.wordpress.com/tos/

  Edit: You can’t write your readers without their consent – under some circumstances, that is. Advertising and such is not legal.
