“Collective” theme, remove page titles/leave them blank
-
Hello, On http://www.OnSeansTable.com I’m running the Collective theme.
Currently, there is no option in the Pages>Quick Edit>Template section to create “Page: No Title”. I know this option exists with other themes. Would it be possible to get a “No Title” option to the Page>Quick Edit menu?
Many thanks!

Hi Sean, this theme’s built in templates are listed here, under Page Templates:
https://collectivedemo.wordpress.com/We don’t have a “No Title” template built in. But you can hide some titles with CSS.
Do you want to hide titles on all pages with a particular (existing) template, or would you like to just specify which pages to hide manually?
Let us know which template, or which pages, and we’ll go from there.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.
There is a specific page “Dice Trays” that I’d like to remove the title from.
Thanks,
Sean -
Via Custom CSS https://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/custom-css/ add this:
.post-14133 .headline.img-headline { display: none; } -
Thank you! I know this is really, really basic for you but I appreciate the help.
There is obviously a whole list of things that can be done easily with CSS. Now I know at least one of them :-)

We have a great guide on finding CSS selectors that you might find useful at https://dailypost.wordpress.com/2013/07/25/css-selectors/
As for modifying those selectors, I recommend https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS and https://htmldog.com/guides/css/
