Color Change Help

  Hey guys, here’s our website: http://thread-rich.com/

  On the left side theres a yellow block that we’d like to change to #f47f24. Also, the text on the left side we’d like also changed to #003c7d. Is there anyway that any of you would be able to help us out and show how to do this? We have the CSS Customization unlocked, so any help would be wonderful.

  I cannot help with CSS. Usually only Staff and 1 Volunteer do. So your will have to be patient waiting while they get to your. When you alter a theme’s stylesheet, you only need to put in the Editor the modification/additions to the CSS, not the entire thing. Read this for more info:

  Thank you, Ive read that guide you posted, but still cannot get the left side to change.

  It looks like you got the colors taken care of. The site title is hanging outside of the box though. Take a look at the following. I reduced the site title size from 4em to 3.5em and added a little negative left margin to bring it over to the left a little.

  #sidebar h1 {
  font-size: 3.5em;
  margin-left: -5px;
  }

  Thank you, I did a bit more looking into the theme’s CSS code and was able to start putting things together :) Ill definitely throw that in there as well!
