Color disappeared from uploaded images starting yesterday

  I use Irfan view 4.4.1 and have uploaded thousands of images IN COLOR to my WP blog. Suddenly (i.e., since yesterday) I can’t. All color is being stripped out of the uploaded image. Please tell me what to do to get back to images uploaded in COLOR and not converted to black and white (or grayscale or whatever it is). Thank you.
