Color for widget headers & Making home page link to splash page

    Three queries: Can I use color in my headers on the widgets in Adventure Journal?? How can I get the Home page on my navigation bar to link to the splash page- I think I inadvertently erased it in creating my other pages, and now it won’t link back. I’ve tried everything in Custom Menus but no success — watched all the tutorials and nothing works!! What is the secret?? Also .. I constantly get this on the top of my dashboard: Tip: You’re one step away from using heifer12x12.com as your blog address. Click here to activate heifer12x12.com…. but when I DO click (cuz I want this), it flips me over to my other blog, http://whatgives365.wordpress.com … what is the secret to being able to make this happen?? (also, it won’t allow me to pay for No Ads–which I do want) on that blog if I don’t buy Custom Design, which I don’t want.) Hmmmm..

    Hi. First of all, you’ll need to contact staff directly regarding your problems purchasing the upgrades you want:

    Now, for your other questions, are you referring to http://heifer12x12.wordpress.com ?

    In regards to the home page issue, it looks like you did erase it after all. From your dashboard, go to Pages and check your trash. You can also go to Settings > Reading > Front page displays and select another page instead.

    About the colors of the header tabs: it looks like you have the Custom Design upgrade. If you do indeed have that upgrade, I suggest you create a separate forum topic under the CSS Customization section.

    Thanks SO much for the Trash hint … I will check that ! In the meantime, I finally did figure out the Custom Menu puzzle … and got that up and running… at LAST!

    I have directly contacted wordpress about the billing & the .com thing — hope they reply!

    Really appreciate your help in all this — and I’ll do a CSS Customization query about the color headers — THANKS!!!
