Color issue
-
Hi there
I’m a newbie so I’m so sorry!I’m using the Quadrat Yellow template
In the Editor, I have set up my colour : my theme colour and my custom colour including the blue 2219CC. Whenever I want to use the blue to cutomize a text in my home page for exemple (or any page), it does not work and put it as green (one of my other custom colour) but with another code FEFDF7 (beige).
When I type it manually (not only click on it) again it does not take it and moves it to green… anyway i dont know if that makes sense? I’m using another blue for the time being – but it is not the one I want!
How could I make sure I can use it? is there a workaround?Thank you

Hi Charlotte –
Thanks so much for reaching out about this. I’ll be glad to take a closer look and see what’s happening. Specifically, if this behavior is intended or if it is a bug.
Looking at the home page on layerandplouf.wordpress.com, beneath the orange text, there is a blue text
layer&ploufPlease confirm that this is an example of where you’re struggling with the font color. -
Thank you so much – it would be so so helpful
The problem is on the blue text in the home page indeed for “Le podcast dédié aux passionné(e)s d’aventure, d’eau libre et d’eau froide : portraits par Layer&Plouf.” (not for the logo Layer&Plouf)
Or the page “Podcast Eau Libre” wherever there is blue text (I had to use another blue the 5D48E9 but not the one I want to use 2219cc)wherever I tried to change the font colour to 2219cc, it does not stick and moves to a green with the FEFDF7 colour code
This is driving mad!!!
Thank you

Hello Charlotte,
I can certainly replicate the behaviour you’re experiencing – and I totally feel your pain.
I’m able to select #2219ca, 2219cb, 2219cd, 2219ce and so on – but not 2219cc.
What’s curious here is, that I can’t replicate this on a test site, using the same content and theme, which makes this installation or site setting specific.
On a test site, I can select 2219cc as the colour.
Are you able to tell me what steps you took when first setting up the site. For example, have you opted to import in any content. Have you imported content from another site, or have copied and pasted content from an outside source?
Many thanks in advance.

Thank you so much for looking into it
I started from scratch when I first set up the site
I dont remember importing nor copying nor pasting much – maybe a few bits and pieces from my first attempt of wordpress blog
(layerplouf.wordpress.com) or a few paragraphs from a page document in a post.As you can see, there is not much content yet! it is just the beginning!
Would there be a workaround I could use? Do you think if I remove 2219cc from my custom colour it could change something?
Looking forward to hearing from you
Charlotte

Hi Charlotte, I have to admit I haven’t seen this before either, but I do see what you mean.
One thing I noticed: in your custom palette, every custom color is named
Color 1. If you change that so they’re all different, does it help? -
