Color issues yet again
-
WP’s Happiness Engineers were my unsung heroes and heroines of 2017 because CSS is the bane of my existence. Can you guys make me happy again and tell me how to change these colors? (Screenshot here: https://cloudup.com/cr41BZgrZKn/f ) Thank you, as always.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Try the following custom CSS – it should look exactly the way you wanted it from the screenshot :
.wpl-count-text, .textwidget, .textwidget a, .comment .comment-meta .comment-author .fn a, .wf-active .comment .comment-reply-link { color: #fafafa; } .bypostauthor { border-color: #fafafa; }Hope us volunteers are also part of the unsung heroes and heroines of this new year =)
Cheers.

@neatandclean, the line of text, and the link, below the Reblog and Like button are within an iframe html element, so we can’t change the text color on that line of text unfortunately.

Thanks aaadude, I’l try that this weekend. I didn’t know this board had volunteers. Cheers to you.
Thanks again thesacredpath, good to see you. Can that line be hidden at least?

Also (and not terribly important) on mobile, this “伷” appears to the left of “Reply”.
^Wiktionary says it means “descendant”, and “伷” doesn’t show up on desktop. . . . Just odd. It makes me wonder about the theme’s origins. -
Hello aaadude and thesacredpath
Out of 19 comments on this page ( https://techmania411.net/2016/06/17/new-offerings-2016-motorola/ ), 17 out of 19 were color corrected through the new CSS provided by aaadude but 2 comments strangely weren’t affected, well, they were, but only halfway. So bizarre. Here’s a screenshot of the 2 that the new CSS affected halfway: https://cloudup.com/cYHcaQbnJAT
Thanks

Like button are within an iframe
Oops @thesacredpath, didn’t realize its an iframe! My apologies.
Can that line be hidden at least?
@neatandclean – while I can help you hide the entire ‘like’ part of the widget (which makes no sense to be honest, since they’re the social aspects of the blog) – but hiding that line in particular isn’t possible unfortunately.
Here’s an updated CSS code; rather an improved one. Should fix the missing color issue with those two comments. I based the code before on a post that didn’t have any replies with authors that had a link back to their sites – hence the deviation.
.textwidget, .textwidget a, b.fn, .comment-reply-link { color: #b9b9c5 !important; } .comment-reply-link:before { font-family: 'Genericons' !important; } .bypostauthor{ border-color: #b9b9c5; }“伷” appears to the left of “Reply”
That’s possibly due to the fonts not being available on your particular mobile device. It’s supposed to be an ‘Enter’ key icon. I’ve fixed that too, potentially in the same code above. Could you help try it out?
Thanks!
Cheers.
