COLOR OF HOME FOOTER PAGE IN COLLECTIVE THEME
-
I am unable to change the turquoise color of the home footer page on the Collective theme. I am also unable to change the colors in the theme, other than the links and the background colors. I can select a predesigned color scheme but those do not match my clients branding standards. How can I assign colors to the main page text (at the top in header) and the home footer page? Thank you.

Hey there!
It will require CSS code to make these color changes. I can assist by giving you some code adjustments for your theme. However, I do see that you’ve got a placeholder (“INFOGRAPHIC WILL GO HERE.”) in that turquoise area. When you add that image, the color will not be seen.
If you’d like to adjust the color via CSS click Appearance → Customize in your site’s Dashboard. Then, click CSS in your right-hand menu. In the CSS Revisions box, please paste the following underneath all existing text:
.featured-footer-section {
background-color: #a8b3c5;
}Then Save your changes.
I arbitrarily chose a dusty lavender (#a8b3c5) to replace the turquoise. I wanted to make an obvious change that would be easy for you to see. You can find the hex color codes of your choosing here:

That should do the trick! If I can help in any other way, please drop me a line. Cheers :)
