Color on the textlinks in a blog

  How come some of the textlinks I write in blogs get blue (I want blue links) and some stay black?

  Blue indicates that you have clicked on (visited) that link.

  Oops. My mistake: the blue indicates that the link will open in a new window or tab.

  Think so? I have always checked the box for “open in new window”, but this theme behaves strange when it comes to textlinks in blogs. Sometimes blue, sometimes black.
  Can in be something wrong with this theme?
