Coloring

I would like my left sidebar to reflect the exact same color as my background, but I seem unable to transfer the color or find it. This is probably a really simple thing. I would also like my links to reflect the reddish color of Athenaeum of Ohio, but I don’t know how to do that either. Thanks for any help you can offer!

  • Hi there,

I’m not sure what you mean by this – you are using a background image. Do you mean that you want the background of your custom menu in the left sidebar to be white instead of gray?

If so, you can control that in the Secondary Menu Color area of your Appearance->Customize->Colors. For more color options, including a plain white, click on the color circle, then click the link for ‘pick your own color.’ You can play with the gradient or enter the six digit hex color code. White is #ffffff

In your Colors, you’d want to use the same deep red for the Links (currently an aqua color) as for Link Hovers.
