Color(s) change from what I have selected

    I am considering using this site for my webpage. I’ve been creating a basic webpage that would capture what I am looking for, but unfortunately the color scheme seems to change.

    For instance, I will save an orange and yellow title page, but upon opening the webpage to edit other aspect, I will be met with a peach and yellow ( for example). Additionally, when I go to the custom color wheel, I can see that the color is still listed as if it was what I had chosen, although the color on my page, doesn’t reflect what was selected.

    Does anyone know a solution to this?

    I think it’s kind of ridiculous to have to reach out to a forum to get support. Not likely going to use or recommend this product, as it has been an hour and already having problems. Quite disappointing.

    Hi there – I’ve done some research here and I think I may know what you are referring to.

    I looked within your Customize tool and see this result: https://d.pr/i/AFvSMt

    The orange circle appears as orange, but the hovering menu does not appear to be the same orange color. I believe this is what you are describing in your experience.

    This might be a bug with this theme. I will step away and see if I can reproduce this on a test site. I’ll reply to this topic once I’m done. Thanks so much for your patience.

    This issue was discovered recently and a Github issue has already been filed for it. I have added this experience, along with my testing results, to that issue: https://github.com/Automattic/themes/issues/3467#issuecomment-849962790
