COLOUR AND TEXT VISIBILITY

    HELP, HELP, HELP!!

    I am having a problem lightening the colour of background so that the posting text is visible. logo, heading everything fine. JUST the main posts, I write are difficult to read and the photo description worse. Post headings are not opening at all.

    Hi there,

    I took a look at all three of the blogs associated with this account and I don’t see any posts other than the default ones. Do you have another account which might have other posts?

    And to answer your main question, in order to change the background of your text area you will need the Custom Design upgrade so that you can modify the CSS of your site. If you are interested in purchasing that, let me know which site you’re going to be using it on and I will take a look and see what CSS code will probably work! :)

    If I need to get an upgrade, please advise cost. I am looking for somebody to assist me with the maintenance of the blog whilst I do the charity ride.
    Please advise on what is needed and cost and we will take it from there.

    Hi Rob,

    OK, that explains things a bit! It looks like your site, wobblingthroughafrica.com, is hosted with a third-party company and is running a self-hosted WordPress.org site rather than it being a WordPress.com blog. There are a few small but important differences. You can read more about them right here:

    Because of this, there isn’t much that we can really do to help. The good news is that there isn’t anything that you need to pay, but the bad news is that you’re going to need to check out the WordPress.org support forum to get some help with making the changes you’re looking to make.
