Colour space
-
When we upload photos, WordPress creates on the fly a smaller version for display purpose. If we click on the image created by WordPress, we ‘zoom’ on the original photo that we’ve uploaded.
Unfortunately, when WordPress creates that smaller version, it doesn’t respect the colour space of the original image. Consequently, colours are shifted and the result is quite ugly.
I’d like WordPress to correct that bug.

Have you noted this troubleshooting section in the relevant support doc? https://en.support.wordpress.com/images/troubleshooting-images/#color-profiles
Also note that if you resize and optimize images to fit before uploading them you get the best images quality, don’t waste your free media storage space and you won’t be troubleshooting.
