Column Width for Mobile/Tablet Problems
-
Hello!
I have been stuck with trying to fit the columns on my site when viewing on tablet/mobile. The words don’t fit and the compressed screen makes everything off-centered. Is there a CSS code I can input or something in the Neve theme that can help me?Thank you!

Hi there – Do you have a link to a specific page on your site where it’s just not lining up the way you are wanting across all screens? Or is it perhaps your home page?
In either case, once we know where to look, we can do some testing and try to get you that help you need to continue moving forward with this. :)

Hello!
For mobile, it’s not the links, but rather the words/blocks that aren’t centered on the bottom of the home page. In the “About Me” section, the words are not centered and actually most of the words are off the screen completely.
For tablet, the “What Do I Do” portion on the home page is off centered as well as the Japanese words under the “Travel” section. In the “About Me” section, the words are perfect, but the pictures are not the same size for some reason. Also! If it’s okay to ask, the main picture in the top portion of the home page show differently on desktop, mobile, and tablet. Is there a way to have it show the entire image for each platform?
Thank you so much!

Hello there,
For mobile, it’s not the links, but rather the words/blocks that aren’t centered on the bottom of the home page.
The reason why I ask is because when I check out the site: https://viewsfromwinst.wordpress.com on a mobile and and tablet, I can’t see the behaviour you describe.
Can you tell me what device, operating system and browsers where you’re seeing this happening please?
Also! If it’s okay to ask, the main picture in the top portion of the home page show differently on desktop, mobile, and tablet. Is there a way to have it show the entire image for each platform?
Most WordPress themes us a responsive design so the site configures based on different screensizes. Are you looking for images to not be cropped on different screens or just that the size doesn’t change?
Many thanks.

Hmm really? I’m using an iPad Air 3rd generation and the iPhone 12 mini.
I have uploaded some pictures via Imgur to show what I see on my screen. I hope that’s alright!
As for the images, I’m looking for the images not to be cropped and be the same design for each platform

Thank you!

Hi there!
From your screenshot, I can see that you’re looking at this site: winstme.com – but we’ve been looking at this site https://viewsfromwinst.wordpress.com that you posted in your original post.
Please note that your site at winstme.com is using the WordPress.org software and is hosted by Siteground. We aren’t able to provide direct support for sites using WordPress.org as this forum is for WordPress.com sites. If you aren’t sure about the differences, please check out this page: WordPress.com vs WordPress.org.
We are happy to point you in the right direction, but note that you may need to contact your hosting service for help or post on the WordPress.org community forum here: https://wordpress.org/support/forums
In this case, I’d recommend reaching out to the theme support first as most of the visual elements of a WordPress site comes from the theme that’s in use. I wasn’t able to determine which theme you’re using on your site (But you can see the name in WP Admin → Appearance → Themes).
Please reach out to the theme support, and if you’re unable to get help from them, post on the WordPress.org forum here: https://wordpress.org/support/forums – Folks there are more familiar with sites using the WordPress.org software and can help you further.

Oh I see! Sorry for the bother! I didn’t realize this wasn’t the right place to ask! Thank you for the information.
