Columnist theme- Widen Post Content HELP!
-
Hello
I’m using this theme for a photo-essay blog. I’d like to make the content width for each post much wider so my images are displayed larger. (I am happy with the size of the ‘featured image’ would love to make it so all images are displayed at this size!)
Please help, it seems this theme is a bit tricky

To make the images in the content as wide, or nearly as wide, as the featured image at the top of the single post pages, you would have to remove the post metadata section that appears at the top right of the content (Tagged, Permalink, Leave a comment).
If you wish to do that, add the following CSS at Appearance > Customize > CSS and then also put 610 into the “Content Width” field below the CSS area. You will then have to delete your images from your posts and reinsert them at “full size” so they will pick up the new wider maximum image width.
.single #content footer.entry-meta { display: none; } .single .entry-content { width: 610px; }
