Columns

I am very new to WordPress and I have just added a ‘News and Resources’ section on my blog. I added a column block with 3 columns and added the content (image plus a bit of text below). When I want to add more news what is the best way to proceed? Say I want to add only one news article but still keep the overall same format (column block; 3 columns). What I am thinking is something like the Instagram look where the posts are always in 3 with the newest ones on top. But I am not sure how to do this (or something similar) on the page. What are the best practices in terms of this? Maybe the column format is not the best one for my purposes? Any help is much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Hi there – I see you have a handful of sites. Could you point us to the one you are working on here, and perhaps a link to the example you are referring to? That should help us get on the same page as you and make the best recommendations. Looking forward to your reply! :)

Thank you so much!
The one I am working on is A Bookworm’s travels https://abookwormstravelsblog.wordpress.com/

Inside one of the columns, try the Blog Posts block https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/blog-posts-block/

Thank you so much. I tried the blog post block within a column. But I am not sure how to apply this for the “News section”. My News and Resources section is separate from the Blog page.

Do you mean https://abookwormstravelsblog.wordpress.com/news-and-resources/ ?
It should work as described. Would you please add it so we can see where it’s going wrong?
