Columns Have Gone Crazy
-
The homepage of my blog, which is based on the Neo-Sapiens theme (http://www.wpdesigner.com/2006/06/19/neo-sapien-wordpress-theme-release-3/), has gone badly wrong.
This should illustrate the dilemma:
http://redvienna.wordpress.com/I want it to look more like:
http://redvienna.wordpress.com/about/It seems to have chopped off most of my latest post, as well as the links in the LH sidebar. It is now displaying my very first post as a large RH column, and has inserted the remaining two right hand columns at the very bottom of the page.
What have I done wrong? Are my posts too long or something? I only made a few tweaks to my front page this evening, and now this has happened…
Any help would be hugely appreciated. Many thanks.

It might be worth mentioning that this only affects the home page for some reason… If I open the latest post on its own, it looks normal again:
ANY IDEAS??

Have you tried checking here? Settings > Writing
On this page you will see:
Formatting
____ WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically
Be sure that this is checkmarked and then click “Save Changes”. Edit you latest post and edit to remove a period and then edit to put it back again. After you do that check the post and see if the problem disappears. If not you will have to proceed one post at a time to locate the HTML problem and fix it. -
Excellent. It seems to have worked – didn’t quite understand the meaning of “rmove a period” but checking that box has done the trick.
Many thanks

It just means that you have to change some little thing in the post to sort of force the software to look at it again when it’s posting. Then it applies the “Correct invalidly nested XHTML” and you’re fixed!
