Columns: how to adjust better paddings/margins and make a grid of columns?

Sorry, I am working on columns, sometimes with images, others with covers. When I write the text, there is no way I can customize the spaces properly. I have used paddings, margins, borders, etc. I have tried it at the column level, at each column block, and at the cover level, but I still have too much space around just for a short line of text.
Please, could you give me any advise on how to adjust it better? I am on a free plan (non-profit).
Please also, may I have all the rows of columns together without any spaces between? I mean like a grid of columns of 4 x 5 rows?

Please, would you mind answering me? It is impossible to have the same padding, margins and borders in each of the 3 blocks of a column with a video + text (: The text above the youtube video is at the top in one square, but at the bottom in the other one, etc. (:
This is very strange; I have spent hours checking that the px are the same: they indeed are the same.

Hi girbau7! There is never a need to apologize for requesting help. I saw that you asked twice in a relatively short time. You just have to be patient for help as these threads are handled in the order they are received, and sometimes this forum gets very busy. I saw that you are on the free plan, and just to let you know if your website or blog is on the Premium plan (or Business Plan), then you should be able to connect with a staff member via chat (you may already know that and I apologize if you do). Otherwise you just have to wait until someone can get to your post. Hope that helps in regards to waiting for an answer here in the forum.
It doesn’t appear that you listed the blog or website that you need help with, or whether or not it is actually hosted here on wordpress.com. Without being able to see what you are working on and trying to accomplish, it’s a little difficult to make any determination on what could help you. Also being that you are using different elements (images, covers, videos), it could be possible that the padding and border settings may not render in the browser specifically the same for these elements. Someone with more expertise may have input on that.
In my experience with columns, it isn’t possible to have rows in them such as that you would use in tables. You are only able to add content in each column, and your content will flow down the column it is in.
It sounds like you may find tables to be the element you need instead of columns for lining up your content.

Thank you! Sorry, I don’t see any option in tables to embed youtube video screens, but only images. That is why used columns: is columns the only option to have a grid of youtube videos, please? Although I understand there is no way to delete the space between each row of columns.

COLUMNS:
If I add a Heading above the video in the column, there is no way to decrease the space between them, so that the heading cannot be close to the video screen (without space). The only way seems to be having the heading below the video screen.
Is it true? Thanks.
