Columns not aligned in preview mode

Hello! On one of my pages, I have two rows of columns, but there are lots of problems with them when I look at the page in preview mode. All of the captions on the images in the columns are left adjusted instead of centered, and in the second row the middle image is overlapping with the third image, in the third column. I can’t figure out how to fix these problems in the editing mode. Thanks!

  • Hi there,

The way the caption is displayed will depend on the theme you’re using. What’s the address of the site where you see this issue? Is this in regards to https://nuclearvoiceorg.wordpress.com/?

Hello! Yes, this is for https://nuclearvoiceorg.wordpress.com/

It’s on the page titled “Database.” I believe this is hosted on wordpress.com.

    Thanks!

  • Right, this is definitely due to your theme. Radcliffe 2 is an older theme that came out before the block editor. The block editor uses a different type of HTML than the classic editor which is the reason for the misalignment.

The only way to fix this within your current theme is to revert back to classic editor. You can switch to the classic editor by clicking on the three dots (next to the cog icon) at the top of the post or page editor and selecting “Switch to Classic Editor”.

Otherwise, if you want to use the Block Editor exclusively, you will need to update to a newer theme.

    Thanks,
