Columns out of place

  • Unknown's avatar

I have been recently using Chaotic Soul as a theme, and no matter what I do, the main page has the column to the right be placed at the bottom, but whenever an article is in view, it’s okay again.

Even as I’ve tried different themes that have columns, it always does this to me and I can’t figure out what to do.

    Plz help. Thanks

I forgot to add that my blog is zeldavalley.net (I purchased the name upgrade plus the CSS, which you can clearly see that I’ve changed some colors).

I would bet ANYTHING it’s your Read More tag; they have developed an alarming tendency to split Div tags, so the opening of the Div tag is on the first part of the post and the closing Div tag is after the Read more. This causes the sidebar to drop.

Set your blog to display one post at a time and then click through till you find the post that’s doing it. Then you have to cut and paste the closing Div tag so it’s in front of the Read More tag.

yeah basically what raincoaster said. this happened to me in the past and what i did was go to check each post and each widget on the sidebar and see if the tags are closed.

Thank you! It turned out to be a post from a long time ago, so I took out the tags in the only post that had them and it fixed everything. Thanks again!
