  I am used to having a self hosted wordpress site. ever since i signed up for .wordpress i am loving it. I wanted to know if i have wordpress.org site does that take me off the ability to see reader, and stuff. how other users can find me so easily with the reader, and likes and whatnot.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there!
  If you want to see the Reader, you would do so by logging into your WordPress.com account. The Reader is created specifically for WordPress.com users. However, if your site is self-hosted, WordPress.com users can subscribe to it, and add it to the Reader. However, your site won’t be searchable within the Reader in the same way that a WordPress.com site is.

  Reader

  WordPress.com Reader-based Likes are only available for WordPress.com sites. Your self-hosted site can be added to the Reader, but there won’t be a Like button.
