.com or .org for e-commerce site

    Hi,
    I’m trying to find the best option for setting up an e-commerce site for myself.
    However, I’m going in circles a little trying to find the best option between the hosted wordpress.com or the self-hosting wordpress.org. I tried the self-hosting option but the technology required is way beyond my usual experience and I feel it will be too steep a learning curve for the moment.
    I was going to go with the hosted .com version but I’m stuck again. From my understanding, plugins are only available for self-hosted .org accounts? I need to access plugins like woo-commerce etc and others such as email capture to get my site running how I like. Is this available on the hosted .com version or must I go with .org for these functions?

    E-commerce options have been removed here at WordPress.com.

    The only way you would be able to receive secure payment is by adding a PayPal button or by linking to an off-site shop like on ArtFire or Etsy, etc.
