COM or ORG for personal blog?

  I am planning to start a personal blog. Is COM or ORG recommended?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  WordPress.com is the best for personal blogs. If this is your first time blogging, having one with WordPress.com is suggested. All sites created with WordPress.com come for free WordPress.com site address. You can learn more about it here. https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/

  If you want to a custom domain (a not .WordPress.com domain), you will need a WordPress.com Personal plan at the least. You can learn the different types of WordPress.com plans here. https://wordpress.com/pricing/

  As for the differences between a WordPress.com site and a self-hosted WordPress (WordPress.org) site, having one with WordPress.com is the best as WordPress.com takes care of handling your traffic. There are no bandwidth limitations.

  If you choose to create a self-hosted WordPress (WordPress.org) site, you will need to go into technical process of setting up the WordPress site, managing it and handling servers when traffic gets heavy.
