  I have sent my blog from wordpress.com to wordpress.org what do i do with my wordpress.com site?

  To change blog visibility to Private go to > Settings > Reading scroll to Blog Visibility and choose option 3. See the guide here http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings

  Then you can use it as a backup site and periodically create an XML export file of your content on your other site and import it in.
