    can i transfer my purchased .com site to a free wordpress site? and how do I do this?

    Hi there. Your domain expired a while ago, so you should be able to access your free wordpress.com site anyway. (You should always have been able to access the blog at periodstain.wordpress.com, the domain addition was an upgrade to the regular service.)

    However, when I go to periodstain.wordpress.com, it redirects me back to periodstain.com. Where did you register your url? Did you do a site redirect at some point that needs to be reversed? If you can give us more details about what was done in the past, we might have a suggestion. Otherwise, we’ll tag it for staff to look at, might take a little longer on the long weekend.
