    My current blog/site is quintadabouca.wordpress.com
    I will have a domain hosted by a portuguese company (proalojamento) and I plan to use wordpress.org software with a theme (from themeforest).
    What do I need to do forward my readers to the future new address?
    The procedure to redirect them will be my last step of the all process, right?

    You actually have an option to buy the Guided Transfer which will help you move your WordPress.com blog to a self-hosted blog using the WordPress.org software.

    In addition, you can install the Jetpack Plugin by WordPress.com to forward your readers to your new site.

    Install the Jetpack by WordPress.com plugin by going to Dashboard > Plugins > Add New > Search for Jetpack

    After following the instructions and Jetpack is installed, contact one of the staff members and ask them to transfer your subscribers from your WordPress.com site to your new self-hosted blog.
