.COM to .ORG HELP
-
Hello,
A couple months ago I purchased a domain with name cheap and started mapping with wordpress. However, now that I am trying to edit the theme on my site it won’t allow me. I have been searching why since I had already done this kind of thing but I haven’t been able to find an explanation. I am logged as an administrator and there’s no theme editor, and also no plugins. After reading a lot of forum posts I still don’t have a clear answer.
The only reasonable explanation I have found (not sure about this) is that wordpress.com has changed and i must move to wordpress.org to do what i used to do. The thing is that I didn’t have a host before, just the domain and the mapping ($14 a year) and apparently to do the switch I must have one. I am thinking bluehost but I will gladly take recommendations.
I honestly have no clue of what I am talking about, and whether I am right or wrong. I am only sure of having been able to edit my themes (codes) and I don’t know about the plugins. I will really appreciate a step by step explanation on what has happened and what can i do to fix it (being able to edit themes), cero technical so I could understand please!
This is strictly urgent, and thank you very much for answering.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

There is no relationship between purchasing a domain and domain mapping upgrade and editing a theme. WordPress.COM blogger cannot edit theme template as they are shared by all using the same template found on the live demo site for each theme. https://selademo.wordpress.com/
We are able to do some CSS editing only provided we purchase the relevant annually renewable upgrades that enable that editing. See here for details on purchasing the annually renewable Premium bundle http://store.wordpress.com/plans/premium/ that contains a custom design upgrade required for CSS editing:

I am logged as an administrator and there’s no theme editor, and also no plugins.
Blogger installed plugin capability does not exist on WordPress.COM blogs and there is no upgrade you can purchase here that changes that reality.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/ftp-access/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/For that type of functionality you’d need a self-hosted WordPress.ORG software install running on a paid web hosting service.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins (passwords), features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
You can hire a web host and move your content into a WordPress.ORG install https://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-to-a-self-hosted-wordpress-site/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.
